Over 42 Years of Experience
On a Godfrey Pontoon the keel, saddle brackets, rub rails, and structural components are custom designed and engineered aluminum extrusions.
Extruded aluminum is formed in a custom designed die that assures maximum strength and integrity is maintained throughout each part.
Many other builders use bent aluminum construction.
An aluminum flat sheet is cut and then bent into shape.
The bending process creates stresses that compromise the strength of the aluminum.
For example, the corners where the metal stretches when it is bent are thinner than the rest of the piece.

Built To Last... |

Saddle Bracket. Heavy duty extruded saddle brackets with welds on two sides for strength and durability.
C-Channel. Every Godfrey pontoon deck is securely bolted to a heavy-duty extruded C-Channel support system.
Keel. Special full-length keel protects bottom of pontoons and helps keep our boat on course when underway.
|
|
|
F-Channel. Godfrey's custom F-channel support system protects and reinforces the entire deck.
This prevents any sagging at the deck edges when entering or exiting.
|
|
Bolted Deck. All Godfrey pontoon decks are securely bolted with 1-½" stainless steel elevator bolts. Godfrey uses either ¾" 7-ply pressure treated wood with a lifetime warranty or space age composite for its decking purposes.

Gates Open Inward. All Godfrey gates open inward for easy access to the spacious deck, but more importantly for safe entering and exiting for all ages. |
|
Chambered Tube Air Check. All Godfrey pontoons use interior bulkheads to add strength and create three separate chambers. These chambers are pressure checked to assure your safety. |
