2001 Buyers Guide

W ith over 200 square feet of deck space, the Sanpan 2500 FF. provides enough space for a family reunion or enough room for a floating dinner party. In spite of its size, it is maneuverable, easy to dock and pretty quick, thanks to the. Evinrude 75-hp outboard. This is a topline, entertaining platform with few rivals.

The Sanpan 2500 has all the quality construction features expected of a top pontoon manufacturer like Godfrey. They include 25-inch diameter, compartmentalized pontoons and a full length keel for strength and long life. Compartmentalized pontoons add welcome security in the unlikely event that a pontoon is ruptured. Sturdy cast aluminum rail and gate bracket set new standards for durability. We think pontoon manufacturers will follow in Godfrey's lead on this feature. D-Shaped rails give the bow of the Sanpan the look of a vintage Cadillac.

Conversational pit couch group fore and aft provide plenty luxury seating. Two reclining swivel bucket seats with armrests crank the comfort level up a few more notches. All seating has the famous Godfrey upholstery durable, soft and supple with thick padding, and special attention to detail.

The custom fiberglass helm and VDO gauge package are laid out perfectly. Adjustable helm seat and tilt wheel combined with good design and construction make this helm ergonomically ideal for any driver. Just behind the helm, the roomy entertainment center has a sink, ice chest, 12-volt power fo a blender and plenty of storage in the cab.
